![]() Celebrity beauty consultant Melissa Bozant is no stranger to rubbing elbows with society's upper crust. Her devoted clientele have included such A-listers as Angelina Jolie, Eva Mendes, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, Gabrielle Union, Sheryl Crowe and countless others. |
"I got my start as a celebrity manicurist", says Melissa, who has been pampering the hands and feet of Hollywood and high-fashion who's who for over 10 years. She has been overseeing the production of upscale gifting and beauty suites for over 15 years. One of her recent suites was at the trendy SOHO House in Los Angeles.
Melissa got her first big career opportunity at Burke Williams Day Spa and Salon, where she was often sent out to studios and on-call as the manicurist for many luxury hotels.
Melissa is currently represented by Photogenics Media, Los Angeles as their feature manicurist. Her print and editorial credits include In Style, GQ, Vanity Fair, ELLE, British Vogue and many more. She was also featured in Jessica Simpson's wedding book, I Do: Achieving Your Dream Wedding and recently featured in Timothy White's Hollywood Pin Up's. Melissa has worked the Oscars, Golden Globes, Image Awards Annual 40th and several music award shows in addition to her private clients and print work.
As illustrious as her career in celebrity pampering has been, Melissa has proven herself as a multi-dimensional talent and a force to be reckoned with in other related areas as well. Supported by The Links, Incorporated, she has a passion for aligning herself with organizations that make a positive impact on communities around the globe.
Melissa is especially passionate about fighting to cure cancer---breast cancer in particular. This passion has inspired her to work on projects with both the Circle of Promise by the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and The Angel Ball (NYC), which also benefits the cause of cancer. Being the first to produce pamper days and makeovers for cancer survivors around the world has been very rewarding in part of giving of herself.
Recently, she launched the Melissa Bozant Foundation, also geared towards helping with the fight to cure breast cancer. The foundation will focus on promoting breast cancer awareness, prevention, and raising funds that will go toward finding the cure.
